Greetings:
I just want to share my thoughts and my thankfulness for the the wonderful event this past Sunday. I want to thank everyone for attending, for the hard work done by all. Beginning with the kitchen crew, the wonderful servers (we had celebrity servers) Judges Connelly & Kuhlman, law clerks, TV Personality Hostess Doni Miller, lovely teenagers , church friends & family it was just incredible as to the friendship and fellowship that was shared and shown. I give God the Glory because we are all His children!! I must also mention the live entertainment from It's Essential to the golden voice of Nathan Gurley both of these performers have graciously donated their time for the last 2 years. Mr. Gurley has been with us since our 1st year and we truly love him and thank him. Emmitt and the gang - we love you too! The children of the Josh Project were beautiful and oh so special. They stood tall with their certificates - one day they will look back on their JP lessons fondly and remember! I am also grateful that my parents were in attendance and doing well. My dad is 81 and my mother is 79 and I thank God! There were so many people there - I think we had around 450 to 500 total!!AND it was snowing outside!!(Shawn Anderson from Norfolk State University representing USA Swimming Foundation was in attendance. I love you like my own son Shawn) The Silent Auction was okay too! Next year it will be even better - as each year we try to improve from the year before. If you didn't make it this year - you missed a gay old time! Hopefully we will see you next year at the 4th Annual Soul Food Extravaganza Dinner & Fundraiser!!! Merry Christmas to all. Peace, Love & Joy.....Toledo's Lifesaver!
