A New Year

Today is the beginning of a brand new year.  I feel excited as to what the new year will bring to and for the Josh Project Inc.  I am somewhat sadden and not quite sure why.  I feel as though so much good has come from the drowning death of my son Josh that I have no right to be sad.  But deep down within me I think that I will always mourn the loss of Josh.  The loss of seeing him grow up, graduate, get married, have children and all those things that come with watching your children grow from childhood to adulthood.  BUT I cannot live in the past - nor can I allow myself to be controlled by the it.  This year on August 6, 2011 will be the 5th anniversary of Josh's transition and is the date of our 4th Annual Summer Celebration.  I want this year's celebration to be the best ever!  If any of you have any ideas that you would like to see implemented and you would be willing to commit to making this year's Summer Celebration fantastic, contact us here and let's discuss it.  Or you can come to our 1st meeting of the new year on Wednesday January 19th.  Our meeting are always held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Mayores Senior Center at 1 Auroa Gonzales Street at South Ave.  The time is from 6 to 8 and all are welcome who would like to donate their time to our cause and mission to save lives by teaching the wonderful life skill of swimming and water safety in our community!  I wish all of you a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous New Year!    Peace & Joy always......Josh's Mom Wanda - Toledo's Lyfesaver
